Tokimo was created out of a simple frustration: why is time management so hard to teach kids? We set out to make it joyful.
Time is abstract. For young children, "15 more minutes" is meaningless noise — it doesn't map to anything their developing brains can grasp. Yet we expect children to organize their days, complete tasks, and transition smoothly between activities using the same mental model adults use.
We built Tokimo to bridge that gap. By turning time into something visual — something you can see shrinking — we give children a concrete, intuitive understanding of time that words and numbers alone cannot provide.
Our goal is simple: make every family's daily routines smoother, happier, and less stressful.
Every design decision starts with one question: "Will a 4-year-old understand this?" If not, we redesign. Children are not small adults — they need interfaces built for how they think.
We do not collect data from children. Period. No analytics on children's behavior, no advertising targeting, no third-party data sharing. Your family's data stays on your device.
We obsess over removing friction. The best feature is often one we chose not to build. Tokimo is powerful because it's focused, not because it tries to do everything.
If using Tokimo doesn't make kids smile, we haven't done our job. Every animation, sound, and character exists to turn mundane routines into moments of delight.
Have feedback, a feature request, or just want to share how Tokimo has helped your family? We read every message.
